KW3 or Seats?

Copland

New Member
Did a good bit of OT at work due to call outs so thinking of treating the car to something nice, better than wasting it on the girlfriend eh.

First thought was some nice seats but at the same time I want it to look standard so I thought some KW3 sus and try and get it abit smoother as I have always thought it's to hard sprung.

Also got a voucher from Demon Tweeks with the new book with a 10% off code so now is the time.

Is £1636 a good price delivered for KW's the now? Or should I go the seat route (not sure)?

Advice please guys.

Suspension everytime for me...............

Snap but am unsure of the gains compared to cost, it will never handle like I want to but I never got it for that reason. At the same time I want it a bit more user friendly haha. I think I can only drive it at about 60% because of worry!

It would have to be KW's for me :race: although I'm not so sure if you'd be able to set it up for a "smoother" ride though [smilie=doubt.gif], no doubt someone who's already got them fitted will be able to advise on that.

:approve:

I have one fitted and some bucket seats as well. For me the suspension definitely got the higher priority but I also have to say it was never my intention to set it up "smoother"...

I have no reference as mine came with KWs on, but I don't think they're harsh by any stretch of the imagination. But maybe I'm used to firm rides with the cup packed Renaultsports I've had...

KW's - but defo not smoother at least in Hong Kong where roads are quite bumpy

But they're adjustable so you can play around and get the setting you like

You need the seats next - cos once you get used to flying around corners at higher speeds, you'll find yourself sliding around on the standard seats!

When I changed my seats (with the help of Mossy) the difference was massive and after I got used to them I thought it was my best mod. Then came the KW's... Completely changes the car.

Ali's right, vee needs both...do both, in either order you won't regret :approve:

Think I will bite the bullet and just get the sus ordered then.

Ali how does ur car feel here on Aberdeen roads? I think the standard stuff is a bit hard.

Where did you find best?

Colins boys had the best deal but since I wanted the coils and two mates wanted other bits in total it was still demon tweeks! Stinking price really but with the 10% discount and the other stuff we/I still managed to get the same kinda price, I was £40 odd poundworse off but...... :s
