Good praise for the 5 but I'm surprised he was saying about it being very linear and almost like a na car. Whenever mine has felt like that it's had a serious boost leak, split intercooler or the like.

Totally agree with you there. Sounds like hes pretending to be a mid 90s car journalist, not natural.
