Jacking points

Where's the best place to jack the car up? Just want to take the wheels off and give them a good clean. Don't really fancy using the sill points as they bend quite a bit. Got a trolley jack do was thinking the subframe where the under tray is attached for the rear, but unsure of the front. There's a spot just behind the wheels but can't tell if its strong enough. On previous clios went on from the front on the subframe, but its so low it wouldn't clear.

Thanks in advance, I'm probably being a bit think and modding something obvious

Thanks, but unless I'm bring really stupid tonight it doesn't say specifically apart from the sills, which I'd rather not use.

It has reminded me I need a rubber covering to put on my jack though. Wasn't bothered with the track car and just jacked it up

I normally jack up on the subframe not the sills as it is much stronger. You can just about get a low jack under enough.

At the front? That's the bit that I'm worried about, the rear looks pretty obvious.

Did like the blocks of wood on that other thread though

I had to use the shitty reno jack (which broke) on the sill to get the trolley jack under the front bumper.

I then jacked up at the end of the suspension arm, where the pivot is.

Rear is easy as you say. On the front I used the Renault Jack on the points highlighted in the manual. Seemed ok that way.

Is this the only way to do the front then - even with a low trolley jack? It doesn't seem to reach subframe :(

I've not done mine yet, been a busy bee, but this is what I was worried about. Also getting some new front tyres and the place I usually use jacks cars up - I'm worried now :s

I had to go in diagonally through the wheel arch to get to the suspension arm pivot thing.
