Is this coils?

Hi, went to Oulton Park in the clio yesterday to watch Tvrs racing on the way back my car seemed to go on 4 cylinders i have become an expert at changing them having done 9 on it, anyway the engine light flashed a few times then went out, the mpg, gallons used and gallons before to fill up, is just flashing dashes,does that give anyone a clue, got home put the car away till tonight when i could have a look, now running on six? computer still flashing dashes, all help appreciated, Alan

A dash reset may cure the flashing display on the trip computer. Details of the procedure can be found in the knowledge base.

Hopefully someone with mechanical knowledge can shed light on the root cause of them problems you've experienced.

Done the dash reset, would like to know why it went on 4 or 5 cylinders all the other times a coil went down engine light stayed on, still firing on all six, regards Alan
