Insurance Lapsed - Ooops - Greenlight to the rescue

For some strange reason I forgot to renew my insurance this year and only just reaslised it lapsed about 6 weeks ago!!! Luckily a coil went in the Vee about 7 weeks ago and as my wife hasn't been driving her car (because of an emergency C-Section), I've been driving her car and just not bothered replacing the coil.

Luckily before I drove it again I noticed I didn't have any insurance so no harm done (though if it had been knicked it would have been a nightmare!).

Went around getting the usual quotes and Greenlight came out top for me again - £680 with 3 points and 9 years NCB - that's with a low excess and unlimited Milage.

You feel a bit lucky that nothing happened don't you Nev - phew ...

I let my house insurance lapse for a whole year once by mistake, won't be doing that again !
