German 'phase 2', I am no expert but isnt that a phase 1 in disguise. Interior, spoiler etc...

Its either one way or the other, hence the inside out bit but I cant read german and I began to speculate.

Useless post but I read most threads here and never post anything, I thought I'd change my ways.

Hi mate.

It certianly looks like a Phase I based on the interior, the lack of the Phase II spoiler and front aerial.

It does have the Xenon washers though so looks like a proper face lift has been carried out.

That is a phase 1 that has been modfied with some phase 2 panels.

There seem to be alot like that germany/belgium way.

Ha,
while looking for ph2's in germany i also found this odd ph2 some days ago.
Its on my imaginary "offers-to-ignore" list
There were only 8 blue Phase 1s sold in germany...
So this could be a very very rare ph1 with a ph2 frontend conversion...but i dont think so.
Even i full respray would be unlikely IMO

Another guess would be that it was imported from UK and the previous owner converted it from right hand to left hand drive with ph1 parts.
It also says 255HP and first time on the streets 09/2003...so it must be a ph2 somehow?

Note:
The car is also highly overpriced, even for germany.

Good thanks, back on the 23rd so just in time, at the moment my list of priorities seems to be: sit in the office looking for clio's then a bit of drawing in the gaps!

I've tried educating the Russian guys, they just stare blankly and repeat, it's a Renault, it's a Renault.

They were much more fascinated by the fact you could buy an m5 touring in the uk, here it's all about cayenne turbos, ml 63's etc... No imagination. Although our q7 feels like it has about 500hp when bombing around in the snow... Great fun.

Well, it's a hybrid v6 phase 1.5

Glad it's not just me that struggled with that one.

Lots of choice in Europe, (if you've got 30-40 thousand EUR)

Not my car. Just the only picture of a phase 2 I could find in Moscow. It's not a Russian plate, they do strange things with plates here, some people don't even bother, I saw an r35 gtr with out plates travelling so fast sideways through the city centre my jaw hit the floor...

I'm looking for an Iliad phase 2 to keep in the uk at the moment. Will report back here with one ASAP.

Hi Moscow! Would be superb having a wad of roubles and driving like an absolute head case on spikes in the winter... But just think of that poor French underside and those horrible saltwater filled Russian potholes, doesn't bear thinking about

Plenty of head case driving going on. Cant work out if its skill and experience or loadza money and no brain cells.

Salt yes. Potholes not really. Other than spots where roadworks are going on I'd say the roads are better than the uk. IMO. Most two wheel drive stuff is in hibernation now. Still plenty of gtrs, r8's, Porsche turbos etc bombing around.

Saw a 458 spyder on winter tyres covered in filth travelling at speed though the city.... Looked great.
