You from Carlisle then mark? I've not seen a single one round town since I sold mine 3 years ago !
I was in the dark blue r32 I went into morrisons just so I could get a.better look haha! Interestingly I had just been passed (at huge speed) by a Ferrari 430 but it didn't have a patch on the Vee for me! Lovely!
Hey matt I'm still looking every dinnertime but I don't want to rush in, Nevs is obviously a beauty but I don't know if I can go to £18000, I do have to say though marks illiad looked alot lighter and pearly than any others I've seen and it was a beautiful colour! Also, PH seems full of mk1's at the moment!
Mark, I sold at the time cause I fancied a change and I'd had 2 by this point, I got the "other cars out there" itch! But now I want back in the gang! Haha,
Your not by any chance from Crosby lodge are you? I'm putting 2 and 2 together as my best mate Joe said something about his boss looking at a blue Vee?
Hi Colin. No I'm from the stanwix area mate. You should defo get yourself another. I've owned an exige 220s in aspen white, 2 vx220 turbos, Evo and m3 and can honestly say that the vee is one if the best I've had. Makes it extra special when its so rare. Just doing the calipers now and have a few other little jobs to do but getting there.
yeah im working on it mate i was quite young when i sold up, got my mk1 at 20 and 255 at 21 so there was plenty of other metal pout there to find, the other problem was i was using them as daily's but now i want one as a summer toy!
having owned a silver and a black/gold im looking to find one in a rare colour such as liquid or lunar grey but its a case of strinking the balance between rareness and price,
Ive been down the m3 route too (e46 vert in phoenix yellow) and aside from a posing tool i just didnt gel with it,
the problem i have right now is that i simply love the R32 im driving, and i dont want to part with it, but i cant afford to keep it and buy a vee...its decisions decisions!
I must admit the r32 s are lovely cars and practical too. Is there much difference in performance and feedback?? Is the vw much quicker. You should defo take the plunge again and invest.I love the liquid yellow ones.
well if either of you see a strange fella wave in a red mazda it will be me
look forward to seeing your vee about mark and maybe a ID vee too....
I would imagine the vee and r32 would be more or less identical in straight line speed but driven right i would imagine the vee would be quicker round track (given the new evo mag)
Id say the same, the r32 and vee will be about identical in straight line speed, the only downside to the R32 is the steering, which is very vague and has no feel at all!
other than that, its spot on, and dare i say it...sounds even nicer than a vee, its got that raspyness that not many other standard cars this side of £50k can match!
jamie is that your red MPS that sometimes sits near morrisons?
Dunno about that Jamie I spotted it right away noticed it was sitting much lower than normal! Looks the business! Shud have a mini meet one night and get a few pics
