After using this design a few days I have to offer some criticism. Unfortunately it's largely negative. Although I have to admit it looks some kind of nice it proofed very impractical to me. With the posting area being only 790px wide I found scrolling through threads, especially with a lot of text, uncomfortable and confusing because it's squeezed together. Also pictures with the common width of 1024px are just clipped off and not even the smaller 800x600 pictures fit in which I find rather annoying.

After having said this I'd like to thank to the guy who removed the Renault badge background because I found that one very disturbing and irritating.

Obviously I'd be really happy if the old design would be restored or if at least there was a choice. I'm sure most people use a screen wider than 1024px so I'm convinced they could take better advantage of their hardware if the forum design was wider than just a thousand pixels.

I hope I find a sympathetic ear (or eye in this case) somewhere.

Seems to be the latest trend having a centre panel with loads of space either side.

I've switched your setting "auto image resizing" to On for now if that helps.

There are just as many pages using the full width of whatever resolution your monitor has and only because it is a trend it doesn't mean it's good right? Fact is I'm just not as happy as I was with the old design either way! Image resizing is no more than a workaround to me and if this should be the solution then I would at least expect a "resize to 790px" option.

Whatever the outcome is on this your efforts are much appreciated! And if ultimately the old design should be restorable I think I owe you a worthy club donation if this doesn't count as corruption

Well... No... And there isn't even much to say to my defence :s As the image didn't show up I was assuming you were referring to the image resize option. My bad please forgive me!! :bow:
