use any bolt to secure it... then cover the filter in tin foil to stop it getting hot.

I thought filters like the BMC where made of carbon fibre and hence shouldn't conduct heat from the engine bay....is that not what a sealed induction kit is supposed to do as opposed to just your standard cone filter which is left exposed in the engine bay?

mine got red hot...i lost power. covered it in tin foil and that did the trick..
