HIGH LIFT CAMS

Does any one know if the only differance between the heads on the Mk1 and Mk2 are only the Cams.
They look the same but without micing them against each other cant tell, if they are different will the cams go straght in or are the valves and lifters different too. I know once this is done the timing will be different from a Mk1 but I assume it will need to be set the same as the Mk2.
Has anyone already done this mod?

As far as I'm aware they are totally different heads as the MK2 's were designed by Porsche

I think the inlet manfold was the only bit porsche did, TWR were still very heavily involved with the Mk2 altough it was built at the alpine factory.

Ive since found out that the inlets on the heads of a mk2 are smaller and highley polished.
