hi my name is jules and I am from the Phillippines I have recently acquired a MK2 clio V6 from japan But in bad shape i think it had a major accident in japan and the previous owner did not make a good job of of repairing it to original state, The most obvious being the front wheel hub became 4 holes instead of 5??? :s and the brakes became smaller and smaller wheels too... I think he got it from a normal clio... I wanted to ask if anyone can help me with this project of mine :) i would be needing 2 front hubs with calipers ? and shocks i think and a lot of small stuff to make it all original again , many thanks this forum is a lot of help.... :welcome: Jules,

Is your car a black lutecia? I think i remember seeing it before. Yeah i think your right that the hubs currently on it is from one of the front wheel drive clios. I guess spare parts for the v6 may be very expensire or hard to track down in that side of the world!

Last time i saw it, it was missing the front grille and d-panel, have you managed to track them down?

James beat me too it, i was going to recommend renaultpartsdirect too.

Have you tried the japanese clio v6 club? LINK They may be able to provide some assistance too.

Good luck with your project!

Interested to see pics of this??

Welcome though! Where about's you based, i'll be out in Manila early next year.

Haha Make no odds. They were all 1.2's once no doubt. Regarding your brakes, I might be able to help you after the new year. I'm planning to use some VW/Porsche Z18 calipers so mine shall be redundant from then on.

Hi that's nice to hear but won't I have a problem installing it because of the wrong hub? :)

Yes black now but it used to be blue? I will be painting it back to original color once I have completed the restoration to original. I'll try the japanes Clio club that you said thanks for the link :)
