Hey V6'ers.

I've signed up as I'm after some information on the inferno V6's.

I've got an inferno clio sport and love it. I've always wanted a V6 and would only upgrade if I could find one in inferno.

I hear they are like rocking horse shît to find though.

Does anyone own one on here?
How many where made?
Is there any pictures of them on here?

Cheers, Sam!

Sam.

Hi Sam,

Welcome to v6clio.net!

As stated, 2 in the UK - neither owner has declared him or herself on here (as far as I know). There was a charlatan many moons ago...

One has been spotted around Bristol area a few times - the other must be in storage somewhere.

I've been a member for 6+ years and have never seen either up for sale.

FTR my missus was one of those who've spotted the inferno Vee. She described it as a 'rusty sort of colour' (no disrespect!!!).

There's a Jamsport tuned inferno kicking around near me. Looks lovely. Would love to see an inferno vee with anthracite alloys. The ones I've seen in pictures don't look that nice in my opinion with silver wheels.

Welcome to v6Clio.net Sam :)

The Inferno v6's are almost mythical in the UK lol. The charlatan that Kett speaks of was offering his car for sale earlier in the year/last year. I beleive there was mention of it on CS at the time, he was asking for £19k or such I think. This one, iirc, resided in Bognor Regis. Whether its the same one that's been seen in the Bristol area I don't recall without doing some investigation work, which I can't do as on iPhone ATM.
It'd be great to have one of the Inferno's back in the club and owned by a real enthusiast! :)

Also, what is a Charlatan one? :(

Lol... Sorry, I should have said 'the car that belonged to the charlatan' The owner was a bit of an antagonist that claimed he had the last v6 to be brought into the UK. ;) The use of his name is forbidden here... punishable by immediate ejection from the club, by the all seeing General James. :p

Hi Sam

Welcome to the club matey.
Hard search to be had for an inferno - idswap my vee and right arm for one so see where you are coming from
Plenty of other rare and nice id colours to choose from though if you fancies upgrading to a v6

Matt

Lived around Bristol all my life and never seen the inferno vee. Got to say 40,000 miles at 19k is a big price tag!

Especially when you could spend an extra 4k for a sub thousand ly ;)

Certainly an interesting colour.

Offers over 20k for the one in Newport Pagnall, the 'Charlaton'' advertised it via cliosport a while ago, don't think it sold. I was interested, but couldn't justify the cost, plus there are much nicer examples in other colours that could be had for less. Could have left hand drive one for that & it would be worth more to buyers on the continent.

See LINK for info on the Infernos.

See them pop up for sale in France/Italy every now & then.

Probably an illiad photoshopped as the GB no. plate part should be blue but is inferno like the rest of the car.

Deffo a photo shop :(

Actually I didn't really take to the inferno at France but that could be the black wheels, pods and tinted windows?

Seeing it next to the mars red - the mars looks a lot nicer colour. Hard to tell from a photograph though. Guess because its a rare colour too I've always wanted one in that colour.
