Help needed with viewing a v6

Right I've seem to come across a good car for sale only problem with it is......it's in Carlisle and I'm in Portsmouth! So that 356 miles or 6 hours or over £200 in fuel just to view the car!
Can any one recommend a company that checks cars over ?

was suppose to say £200 in trains ! I'm driving a 3.2 v6 mercedes estate which isn't to bad on petrol but long distance like that in a day alone aren't my cup of tea!
