Looks like the one which goes to the back of the cigar lighter.....
That wire & plug is put there to p1$$ you off when you re-assemble your car. Serves no purpose and plugs into nothing on the 5GTT. Just tuck it back in there somewhere

Steve are you totally sure mate as I have been pulling my hair out over it - thought the bloody dash board had to come out again
it will be a great relieve if it is not required.
As rabbit stew has suggested the back of the lighter, I have checked and there is no place for it - only 2 wires and there both plugged in.

Aha, bigsteve is correct. The cigar lighter wiring does look pretty much identical, however there are 3 wires on the connector for the cigar lighter. Ive just double checked and I too have this spare connector, it doesnt plug into anything from the looks of it...
