Oh and Graeme one more question we all want to know, and maybe you can dig something out....

Was there definately 2 petrol blue / paddock green v6's sold in Austria?? It's in the sales data, and yet no trace or evidence of either car has ever been known??

hello Colin,
I've no idea personally but I have sent an email to the PR person in Austria i knew to see if they have ever seen them. will let you know.

awesome! maybe we will find out once and for all!

Thanks for the story about delivering the Spider to Monaco for the filming of Motorworld, it was great to read about :). I think that may actually be the first time I became aware of the Spider after watching that, It caught my attention from that day and has stayed with me since, I'd love to own one but the practicality or the lack of (oh the irony coming from a v6 owner) looks set to hamper that plan for the foreseeable future especially in regards to the Saute Vente model with no windscreen and left hand drive only.

I've only ever seen two examples in Real life, a Trophy model converted for road use at the Renault Sport National Meet and a Blue UK Spider driving past where I work on one of this summers very rare sunny days.
