Heater blower motor

Hi,

I took my car to the garage and they have found that my heater blower motor has stopped working and this is why I have no air from my vents. . A replacement is £177 from Renault. The garage have suggested I source a motor myself. He said I needed a Valeo motor? Can somebody point me in the right direction? Renspares have several motors in stock, but are the motors used in the mk1 and MK2 the same?

Took me a while to find out what model you own as it's not in our register.....

So the info I have is:

Phase 1

Phase 2
77 01 051 271 £186.13 No make mentioned

I would think any clio one would be the same phase 1or 2 and there's loads on ebay getting pulled apart

Cheers James and johnler. Magneti was the other brand the chap in the garage mentioned. He did say there was a third, but not even he could recall the brand.

I assume either of phase 1 motors will work?

I'd rather not pay ~£200 for a motor, but don't know if used is a false economy!
