Hello all,

I have been looking at the site for a while and finally got round to signing up. Since last year I am the lucky and very proud owner of a Phase 2 Clio V6 and this club\forum definitely seems to be the place for all things Vee.

I don’t think I will have to tell you that this car is pretty rare in SA and actually I am yet to see another one on the road but there are a few around and I have seen adverts for some on sale as well so they do exist.

I have already been browsing the cleaning\detailing section and it’s great to see the passion and enthusiasm all of you have for this car.

Cheers

:welcome: great to see members on here from far and wide all appreciating the amazing Clio v6 [smilie=yay.gif]

Goeie naand boet!

I've been fortunate to travel SA a few times, best country to visit and travel in the world and I've been to a lot of countries.

Never seen a Vee though, the times I've been there we have always been in bakkies. I bet the Vee would struggle on some of the roads outside of town.

Anyways, welcome to the club and look forward to seeing some pics with some SA vistas in the background.

Hi,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

@Sam,
The cars are RHD over here, so the same as in the UK. We do have some good roads when you get more into the country and there are no roadwork’s happening. I still haven’t ventured that far with the Vee yet.

@Ali,
I will work on getting a few pics up (hopefully by the weekend).

@DFB,
Goeie Afrikaans :salut:
It's always great to here good things about SA and bakkies are definitely popular. Your right, you do have to think about where you are going to drive in the Vee (you need to be on the lookout for potholes, speed bumps, road works and bad drivers).

Cheers
