Just though i'd write up, I took the car there last weekend for it's cambelt & a few other bits.

Took it there first thing on Friday & collected it midday on the saturday.
I had a fair bit of work done, new cambelt, accessory belt, water pump, clutch. Plus new spark plugs too.

Porstsmouth is a bit of a trek from me (almost two hours away) All in all, i'm very pleased with the service & Mike (the owner) went through everything, he emailed me a very detailed quote before I agreed to take it there too, so i'd know what's what.
He has worked on & changed a fair few vee cambelts before, so he knows his stuff.

If your considering taking your vee to a specialist, i'd recommend there [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

Good to hear the Mikey's still delivering the quality I'd expect :approve:. I've know him for years through CS. He worked at the old Renault dealer in Pompey ... Liningtons ... and helped me source my Vee on a sweet F&F deal. Until Liningtons closed it meant I was always certain that my Vee was being looked well after since Mike always worked on it personally. Now I'm about to run out of warranty, I'll be going to Rentech for all my work from now on :).

Had the vee in at Rentech this afternoon, service was first class. kicking myself for not finding them sooner, they're only 15 minutes from me.
Had to get 2 litres of oil removed from engine after K-tech over filled it when i had car serviced there!!!! luckily no damage caused.
Had resistor pack for internal blowers replaced as my ventilation packed in yesterday.
Decided to have my air con gas charged while i was there, (cost me half what local dealer quoted me).
As if my luck recently couldnt get any worse, on the way to Rentech i had a coil go, (second one since buying car in May).
All the above was sorted in an hour and a half and car feels like new again.
Mike even gave me a couple of spare second hand coils for nothing. Will definately be back for cambelt next year, cant recommend them enough, thanks very much.
