Good Value Phase 2 ??

Press car - Graeme (GPH) may have some info on this particular one, but the reg. number doesn't ring a bell (i.e. I don't remember seeing it in any magazine features or articles), but listing states.......

"This is THE original Renault press car used in the launch of the Phase 2 Mid engined V6"

"This car is completely original and hasn't been ruined by after market modifying"

As Graeme mentioned, press cars were a bit 'special', and if this one is straight and its maintenance record is up to scratch then IMO that is an extremely good price (i.e. cheap). :approve:

I was going to look at this but after owning a few ex press cars in the past I vowed never again. They are ragged senseless and from experience, not maintained as you would expect. However perhaps this car is in a better place, not going to pay 15k to find out!

.....There are exceptions, and I was lucky to find one such example. It doesn't matter how a car is used as long as its looked after and maintained in accordance with its usage, preventative maintenance being key.

Completely agree, I guess my advice would be, proceed with caution and get the car checked over by a independent to be sure.

......along with changing all fluids, filters and plugs (and belts if no evidence of these being changed) once you acquire the car.
