Giving The Nurburgring A Go Last Month :)

Great looking v6, great video and great driving in what looks like far less than ideal conditions :salut:.

Amazing pace!!!
I assume your not running a standard suspension set up, as it looks to corner really flat.
Great vid

Awesome. One of the few drivers of the clio v6. Just goes to show that with the correct driving style they are fine in all conditions. Those damp and patchy wet days are worst in my opinion being much more greasy. Great video :approve:

Great to watch. Well controlled drive given the conditions. :approve:

Seems like you got a well set up car there - what suspension set up are you running?

Saw some a couple of flashing lights on the dash - oil light coming on when cornering?

Very well driven!! great video!!

Would like to know what has been done to the car too. Looks tidy from the outside. What semi slicks do you have on there?

Got caught out with the rain last minute, but decided to go with it rather than waste a lap. Running leda coilovers, set up with Mark Fish's help. Fully corner weighted and set up running a touch more camber than normal, higher spring rates suited more for track day use. And tyres wise I'm giving the yokohama advan ad08's a try. Plus on that lap I went with running slightly higher tyre pressures on the rear than the front to get the back end just moving a bit more than usual to keep it fun. Oh and the light on the dash turned out to be a frayed wire on the loom which shorting to the chassis around corners, it's now been sorted thank goodness lol

This was great to watch! You are a very keen driver indeed. Mark set up my suspension similar, Leda's stiffer springs etc, but shamefully mine sits in the warm most of the year :-(

[smilie=icon_eek.gif] Good that it stopped at just a couple of dash lights flashing........and that you have it sorted now.

I did some karting on and off when I was younger Ali. What I like about this though is that i think it sort of shows to people what we as owners already know... that these cars can be well balanced and quick if u just set them up correctly and be on the ball when driving them. They don't deserve the reputation they have in my eyes
