Gearbox from a van?!

Does the vee have the same gearbox and ratios from a renault traffic, I was driving the traffic last night and saw that the revs are exactly the same in all gears as the vee, the box even feels pretty much the same as the vee too...??! similarities end there...

if you do a search I did a list of the gearboxes, I seem to think that the Val satis may have had same ratios.

I find the ford transit van a much smoother box than that on the clio. Just find it so 'clunky' does anyone else ?

the mk1 gearbox is quite notchy, and has a very light feel to it,

i love it to be honest!
