Clio is waaaaay more expensive to insure than a Subaru?? I found that the other way about and had way less people hanging up on me when I mentioned what car I had trying to insure it.

Personally I think it's a shame that the ph1 has had bad press as far as handling. I've done a fair few miles in the winter and the snow in it and I've had no problems. I've had twitches but always caught them in time. I'm 40 years old and an ex motocross racer, maybe this helps? But I dought it. I have had worse moments in much more powerful cars. Anyone can drive a Subaru. iolin:

I find my 172 more dicey in the wet than the vee.

I never seemed to have any problems with my 172 but I used to love the way my 182 used to oversteer, surprised me every time! Great chassis!
