Full orbisoud system

Jonny

New Member
Well after mt attempt at a full custom exhaust fell through due to personal circumstances with the exhaust manufacturer out of my control i am now again trying to source a new exhaust system for my car.

Has anyone got a full orbisoud system fitted to their car? if so are there any sound clips?

i wouldnt bother with the full system its just crazy money, you need to hear matts he has the orbisoud rear box and the rest is just straight through, it sounds like nothing else! :approve:

Yea i have haerd matts and it sounds great but as he has no cat's my car wouldnt pass the mot if i went down this route. I just want a replica of the trophy exhaust and try to get it to sound like the trophy as much as possible with only 2 cats instead of 4

Jonny,
decisions, decisions...

First, what help, is to define what you're aiming at: (some) sound engineering or a real boost in performance (extra horsepowers at the wheels).
If your goal is to improve the sound probably a backbox and removing/replacing the cats will do.

If you go for the performance improvement you need to include the manifolds as well in your consideration and so the replacement of the full exhaust - with the associated costs....
3 options for a full system:
- Orbisoud, but not sure if they still deliver the full system today, probably only the backbox I believe, according to their website. A full system from Orbisoud is loud, very loud....
- K-Tec /Janspeed, Spike can tell you all ins & outs
- Torque Technique / SG Motorsport as in your previous post
Some members here on the forum have a custom system - I believe from RS fabriaction or Prospeed, I don't remember anymore.

If you go for a full system what you also need to include is a remap of the ECU - including rolling road test.

Yea mate there are alot of decisions to make, i am mainly going for the best possible sound i can get from my car but also to get good gains as possible.

Are there any video's ok the full orbisoud system? i would love to hear it, it must be epic.

I want to try and stay away from the ktec/janspeed route as i want something different.

I have thought about buying the manifold from torque technique and getting a custom back box made to link into them, this should make it sound like the trophy shouldn't it?

I will also be getting a full remap and the car put on a rolling road.

I am thinking of going full custom manifolds and all. 3 into 1 and 2 seperate pipes into 2 sports cats then into the back box kept in 2 seperate pipes the whole way through the system.

Good idea or is there better?
