Friday LY in central Swansea

What a nice surprise today, a lovely Liquid Yellow cruising through Swansea shops at lunchtime. Getting lots of attention too.
Gotta say though he was game (or is that foolhardy) parking it amongst the Christmas mayhem on Oxford street!

Yes I thought Clio Vees were right out of my system but maybe not yet!
 
'Surprise'? I'd have thought total shock would have been more likely. Bet it brought you to a total standstill for as long as it was in sight.

We haven't got that registatrion listed for LYs, so that's really interesting too.
 
I've since heard that this Vee is (allegedly) a local (known) Vee that used to be silver!
Not convinced myself. I did have a look round it when it was parked up 5 minutes later, but I didn't get it's number. (actually, can you see a Vee's plate from outside?)
Anyway, I didn't want to look too PH, dressed for work as I was!

Bugging me too now this reg number. I've tried various combinations and no Vees come up. I expect I'll come across a pic of the car including reg plate just when I've forgot about it. :)
 
Hmmm the plot thickens. No no no, only joking! I don't want to get anyone in trouble.
I've tried to zoom the plate on the original photo but frustratingly it's not clear. Of course now I wish I'd taken another photo when it was parked.

Oh well, I probably got the number completely wrong. It was a very naughty font.

Hi wayne, the lancia,s great. someone done the locks but did,nt get past the imobilizer couple of months ago ,having my garage worked on ,so the car was outside.i work away during week so in a bit of a corner at time. ( in steps martin/julie, "mid engine" and insists on having the car garaged at his place) . can,t thank them enough . just to top it all the pikey b-------ds in leatherhead surrey let me have an early xmas,by turning over my van and nicking all my tools ,etc , etc. " hence early xmas." although has given more time to "hunt"the yellow vee with the lancia :)

could it be that cat d titanium that had 17s on it but resprayed??
 
the ad says sadly stolen recovered, so yeah it will be cat d/c.

your right, it does look like its on 17's, it sits like a mk1.

if you feel that there is something wrong with the car why dont you just give the guy a ring.
then you can come on here with the full facts not mmmm me thinks.
