Ford Mondeo ST Tdci Diesal

Due to me never using it now, and wanting some spare cash for some nice bits for my new 21, I have decided to sell my mondeo. It is a cracking car, does about 42mpg round town and 56mpg on a run. It is on an 05 plate and is in the rare ink blue (dark blue) colour. It has full service history, mainly main dealer. It has tax till the end of May 2012 and mot till 3rd June 2012.
It has half leather interior, icy cold aircon, 18" standard alloys, heated front seats, heated front screen and electric folding mirrors, ford 6 disc cd player.
The car has high motorway mileage (149k) but don't let that put you off, these cars do well over 200k no problems.Add to the fact that all the common faults have been done on this car. It has had new track rod ends, all the tyres are nearly new, new rear shocks, all new belts and pulleys (has timing chain so no risk of snapping cambelts). It has also had brand new injectors, gearbox, dual mass fly wheel and clutch. Nothing is needed for this car.
The car has had some sensible modifications, it has been de-catted (no probs with mot as it is a diesel and it passed no problem with it on ), an airtech front mount intercooler ( cannot be seen from out side car or with the bonnet open), and has superchip bluefin which includes the handset to take the map off and on. The car looks totally standard, no boy racer looks at all, all mods are unseen, but it pushes out about 187bhp with 320ftlb. It drives extremely well. I still have all the original parts should you wish to return it to standard.
The body work is very straight with no dents, although it does have stone chips and a few small scratches ( I want to be honest ), the wheels have corrosion which is a common problem with them, but I will include a spare set a zetec-s alloys which I think suit the car even better but again these have corrosion and need a re-furb to make mint. A few club members have seen the car and will vouch that it looks very good.
I will try a get some pictures up soon. I do not have to sell the car, and truth be told I do not want to. It is a huge amount of car for the money. But I now have 4 vehicles and it does not get used much now, and it is a waste for it just to sit on the drive.
Price ?3875 ovno.

Cracking car. Had one the same on a 53 plate, and drove it to The French alps and back Fully loaded with no problem at all. Managed to get 60mpg as well on occasions.

Hi Phil, already tried the owners club. Just the wrong time to sell it I suppose. Just want to get the Renault on the road, but I will not drop any further. I can break it for more.
Another reason I guess is that I am a private seller, not a garage so cannot provide finance, and not so many people have ?3k + sitting in their accounts. But if it helps, I may be able to take card (visa/mastercard etc) through work for it, but I would have to clear that with my directors.

Bummer.... I'll ask my IT guys to stick it on the company intranet for you... That equates for around 400 staff in the British Isles, so you never know...

Tempting, but don't you live miles away near Liverpool...??
Think I'll give it a miss as that's a long commute...:-)
