Ford Focus ST New Car Detail

I thought I'd show you guys what goes into a new car preparation. You'd think a brand new car would be delivered in perfect condition but sadly, this isn't the case.
This car was booked in before delivery as the owner knew the Guard X offered by Ford wasn't up to the job, and that it would more than likely be applied in a less than ideal way... they applied it anyway - not that you'd know!

The car on arrival.











Clean up crew

After a good pre wash and wash down, Iron Out was applied.







Dried with Aqua Deluxe towels.



Clayed.



Panel wiped and inspected.





Good effort Ford.

Dealing with the marks around the car.















Once all marks were removed the car was prepared for coating.



The car received 2 layers of Gyeon Mohs, 2 layers of Cure.
Wheels had 2 coats of Gyeon Rim, 1 coat of ODK Momentum.
Glass had 2 layers of G|techniq G5
Exhaust was treated with AF Mercury and Gyeon Rim.
Tyres and rubber trims with Gyeon Tyre.
Plastics with Nanolex.

















The engine bay had a once over and finished with ODK Entorage.



The interior was thoroughly cleaned. Fabrics dressed with Gyeon fabric, Leather with Leather Guard. Plastics with Auto Finesse Dressle.

I did take more photos of the machine polishing stages but I lost most of them It was really bad, especially the rear bumper and boot lid.

Haha, yeah. The RS is impressive. This makes for a great daily driver though. The owner is pretty young so insurance companies would have a field day if he got an RS.
