Flat spot & fuel pump!

Hi all.... Just two queries,
First query is I have just fitted an induction kit and the car drives and sounds great but when i'm not driving and if I press the excellerator pedal down fast I have a flat spot for a fraction of a second, just wondering is there any way of getting rid of the flat spot, I didnt have the flat spot when I have the original air fliter in the drum!
Now, the second query, my petrol pump is humming loud and I replaced it with another second hand pump and that hums just as loud, does this mean that both pumps are on there way out? Is there a difference between a PH1 and PH2 fuel pump? Thanks. Yeah!

And herein lies the solution.

Or live with it. Mines the same.
