Flashing emissions light

I think it's called that, or engine management or whatever.

Anyway, my car has a decat, so I reset it every now and then but it always comes straight back on. Today was giving it some beans and the light started to flash. Any ideas why that might have been?

If I'm honest I think I'm gonna put a sports cat on anyway after xmas as having the light always on annoys me.

Mine is defatted and light is on permanently. I will still flash if a coil goes pop I'm told.

I've just had all 6 coils changed. It flashed for about 5 seconds then just stayed on. Read the faults and it was the usual cat ones and a misfire. Would the coil fault be on the fault reader?

I would be checking the new coils again, if not that look at the lambda sensors. a scan would tell you straight away. I charge £25 for scan, cash, £49 with reciept. am in nottingham.
