Collected 18/5/18 milage @ 36785
First weekend total milage 158 miles.
What a noise, never driven anything
Like it, I cannot believe how responsive it is especially after my last four cars being turbo.
Spent some time getting to know how it drives, no rear end scares.
Took the engine cover off for one spin but that was little too much.
xenon jets is leaking - bought new jet.
Engine management light OBD2 reader shows error code P0430. Awaiting a call back from Mark Fish to arrange service / cam belt / coil / possibly new starter motor.
Scraped front bumper reversing off a curb, small chip but repaired.
Spoke to Simon re phase 2 side pods and bumper both ordered.
Spoke to Phil re front splitter, two ordered.
Missing cd cassette- arrived.
Bought car cover.
Started to refurbish dead exterior plastic.
Secured loose gear knob.
Removed additional V6 badge front grill.
Clear engine cover arrived.

The plan to have the car in peak shape this year is still on course. Sooner rather that later I hope.
Ps I apologise for being all over the forum like a rash. I’m like a kid with a new toy but hey you only buy your first Vee once in your life.

Great to hear your loving the V6 but did you know you’ve now contracted the ‘vee bug’ and sorry to say it’s untreatable to date. Many people caught it over the years and some had to buy a second or third car to get their fix
Good luck Chris :salut:

Cheers Phil I think I’m well and truly hooked. Who knows I’m not saying a phase 1 is off the cards in the future!
Quick question do you know where is the best place to get Dzus clips from. I’ve seen some on eBay but they seem pretty expensive. £48 for 12

Keep in mind the clips from Renault are about £15 each!

This old discount code is worth trying out.

V6clio.net members get £15 off any Clio kit via entering the code 'CLIOV6'

Message the seller.........

I did realise they were as much as that, the clips I’ve seen don’t seem so expensive now. Thanks James
