Finally going to buy a Quadra - Questions !?

Hello Guys..

I'm going to buy this Renault 21 Quadra
What should I pay special attention to when im going down there to pick it up ?
And when does the Renault 21 Quadra change phase's ?
And do all models of the 21 Quadra have the "lock rear differential" button ?
Any good advises is more then welcome.

And how do I become a member ?

All the usual faults for the 21 turbo. I'm sure somebody will tell you more.

1, On a quadra check the abs works coz its different to the 2wd abs. Check the diff lock works no hassel if it dosn't, but it may never work.

2, It never really changed it just got coil packs and an intergrated alarm.

3, Yes

4, pay 20 pounds to lyn via the paypal account and you will become a member. I think there is a discount for overseas members but i'm not sure.

Yes the quadra was introduced in 1990 when the range was facelifted. It was in the range for 5 years when the 21 was replaced by the Laguna, after that renault never built a 4wd Laguna.

If you look in the vbgarage and look at davel485's cars you will see the difference between the 2 phases. hth abit more.

Aus privater Sammlung abzugeben. Kenner wissen um welches Fahrzeug es sich hier handelt. Er hat einige M?ngel, Rost T?r hinten links, 1 Felge von einem anderen R21 Turbo montiert. Innen ist der Wagen in einen guten gepflegten Zustand. Bordcomputer und E. Paket sind serie. Fahrzeug kann besichtig werden.

collectors item. Pro's know where whe talking about. Rusty left door, wheel from another 21T placed (just 1 ). Car in very good condition. You can visit and take a look.

In my opinion 2900? will be a fair price. I know, in UK this car is worth sh*t...
Take a good look when you buy it.

My personal opinion:

enginebay look like ****, that dont mean anything butt the seller said that the car belong to a collector. As far as i know, a collector keep his baby clean.

Take a good look at the doors, under the skirts, rear end, trunk and sure the bodywork under the bonnet (where the springs are in ? How you name that???)

Listen to the engine, when it knocks, leave it. Smoke (turbo), condition off the hoses, intercooler and try to take a look at the loom (wiring).

Thats a very clean looking car there! I like my leather but those cloth seats look great, matching the door cards like that.

The part off the shell were the suspension sits in, 3 bolts and always ROTTEN.
