Falkens

I used the 452`s on my 350z without any problems at all, they were really good value vs grip. But i did hear that Falken had replaced them now with the 453`s? In which case that might explain why the 452`s are out of stock?

453s aren't meant to be as good as the 452s, though I've not personally sampled them. Have you tried other websites to see their stock? Blackcirlces, mytyre, etyre etc.

This is also a good first stop shop to buying tyres you've not had before: LINK

Have had 452's on #002, which is my first experience of these particular tyres (the Vee came with them when I purchased it in Aug 2011). For dry running on the road they are quite good, and good value for money too.

Another thumbs up for 452s here :approve:

They're quite popular in TVR circles so are no doubt a capable tyre for the money

I don't rate them. Had 452 many moons ago...2nd worst tyre i've had (Avon ZV3 being the worst)

If you want better low-mid range tyre than the TOYO would be my suggestion.

Or cold, or before they're up to temp! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Unbeatable within their operating margins though.

Exactly the point - only good for warm/hot days if you drive hard, but bordering on marginal at all other times.
IMO not suitable for cars on UK roads when coupled with the British weather.............

Perfect tyres for a set of summer wheels that can be popped on once you've stuck your head out the window and checked the forecast. Too much of a faff for me!

R888's should be the ideal tyre for most then!! Seeing as most of you's only drive your vee's in dry weather! They also work perfectly at low temps, I've raced with them on down to 1 or 2 deg!
