Fabia splitter fitted to ph1 bumper

Just fitted a Fabia front splitter to a ph1 bumper. Bought new off ebay for £17.50 delivered. I fitted it whilst the bumper was off which made it quite easy They are quite nicely made from a rubberised plastic.
It does reduce the already low front clearance by 30mm.

Looks good to me:

Looks a perfect alternative to the impossible and expensive to find OEM.

Thanks for sharing!! :approve:

Brilliant, funny have thought about the Fabia splitter before but assumed it would not fit. Considering the price of an a V6 splitter, with a large chance of it being ripped off (again) this is a great find.

Was any cutting involved and could you post a picture once the bumper is back on the car? :approve:

What is this made of? Only reason I ask is because the OEM item is made of (pretty) flexible rubber rather than a plastic derivative. I never fitted mine as I'm told it would catch on everything, however due to it's flexibility it (and the bumper it's attached to) would mostly emerge unscathed.

Just as a head-up for those that are considering it to work out if the material is hard exterior-type plastic (as it looks to be) I imagine you could do a bit of damage to the underside of the bumper if you were to come down hard on the splitter at the right angle - say taking a speed bump too fast and nudging the road the other side and bumper repair/replacement is a faff.
