Hi All,

Have been a member on here for a little while now (although i need to renew my forum membership!).

I bought Will's (bill1) old vee from here at the beginning of last year and unfortunately had to sell the car shortly after due to needing some cash to fund another interest of mine (I own a small sailing yacht with my other half and unfortuntely we encountered a snapped mast.... costly replacement to say the least).

Anyway, I sold the car last year to a chap called Ben who lives relitively locally. A week or so ago I got in contact with him to see how he was and ask if he was enjoying the car. As it turns out, my timing was perfect as Ben was beginning to have thoughts of selling the vee to fund another purchase.... so I i immediately arranged to see him to discuss a price to buy the vee back.

To cut the long story short, we shook hands and I have agreed to buy it back. Have left him with a deposit and due to pick the car up next month (cant pick up sooner as going away on holiday for 3 weeks soon so would rather wait until i get back).

I really am chuffed and look forward to enjoying her again, even if it is through the winter! To my amasement the vee has only covered 1,100 miles since i sold her, and has even been treated to a full cambelt change which included a major service and some tasty new rubber :) . She was due her second belt change this year anyway but glad to see Ben got it all done on time.

Will post some pictures when i pick her up next month!

Thanks

Nick

Welcome back to the fold Nick.
Sounds like it was in good hands during its enforced holiday...

Word of advice: next time ditch the boat! Lol!

Cheers guys, quite pleased I managed to get hold of my previous vee rather than starting looking all over again.

Cheers guys,

Will post some new pics once I pick her up in a few weeks!

Sam - perhaps a mini meet is in order?

Thanks Guys..... I may have even better news....

I am picking her up a week on Saturday :) :) :)

Long story but basically I am going to drive her for a week and then SORN her off road for a little while as its winter (tax runs out this month you see). I can keep her snug in a garage for a while. Oh and plus my insurance comes down at end of November as i turn 23.... (yes it does make a huge difference at my age lol). So i may insure her this year after my bday :) and then all is dandy!

Hi Will,

Really good news indeed. Will have a to meet up in a few weeks time! She has been kept well by her current owner. I told you i would buy her back if i could ;)
