I’m on holiday so won’t get to read it until I’m home.
Nice to see the V6 on the cover of the non subscribers version.

The editorial was both praising and somewhat condescending, which is probably deserved. Five [emoji294]️ rating remains in place.

A digital copy can be downloaded from Evo magazine App.

That what I thought. I really enjoyed the article.

Jayemm did a film on my car last month which should be uploaded soon.
He was quite scathing and after watching it I’m unsure if he liked the car or not.. It felt like more criticism then praise.

It was fun to see how he does his films but part of me left thinking I probably wouldn’t have let him do the film if I had known how negative he was going to be.

He contradicted himself quite a lot when describing the characteristics of the car and didn’t have the experience or knowledge to explain the car properly (possibly not his fault given he has 5 mins to review a car!)

Typical narrative of, ‘slower than a 182, won’t ever be made again, won’t kill you but a phase 1 will’. I feel as though as soon as these two things are mentioned it’s because the reviewer has read/watched other reviews before making theirs, resulting in these cliches being repeated again and again.

Not to mention the classic Clarkson car review format of, slag it off for the first three quarters and then say how, despite this, it’s great, except it isn’t, but actually it is.

Obviously we are all biased but as you say, it lacked content so it’s difficult to understand what he actually thought or meant.

C’est la vie, another feature in Evo more than makes up for it!

Exactly, Harry’s garage was a great review, this months Evo also.
I suppose all cars will divide opinion.
