firstly sorry if ive missed a post and im talking history. but Gaydon last year was our first event and we really enjoyed it, but best by far was the Silverstone classic,i think only 5 vees attended but other car clubs (ferrari for the f40 celebration in particular) were a one off.the classic paddock entry for the warmup /line up prior to the racing was just superb , even SHE enjoyed it.it wasnt cheap but are there any plans for either events this year. ps this has nothing to do with only being on the reserve list for kimbolton which i missed last year as a newbie cos it was cancelled

Google search suggests that's it's not being held this year. A little birdie tells me to the contrary. Perhaps best to speak to Shaun (the tinkerbell of the events world)for the down-low... ;)

All we can say at this stage is that it should be a fantastic meet.. at a very exciting venue! I'm looking forward to it!! [smilie=yay.gif]

Hi all
We are now trying to sort an autumn national meet if anyone is interested

Going on what JT and Chris Day were saying, it'd be very last minute. Hope to chat with Luke at CSS at the week end. Obviously happy to help make it happen, and to attend! :approve:

It is indeed special, but we are sworn to secrecy at present.

For the benefit of those reading this thread. The planed meet at the 'special' venue has unfortunately been called off.

There may however, be a small gathering later in the season. Will keep you all posted.

Some owners will shy away from an "Autumn" meet because they are under the illisuion that their cars melt if it rains on them.

Nigel.
