Ok so my engine is in great condition as only done 9500 miles ... however as the car is 8 years old there is still some dust apparent here and there.

i want to polish it up nicely and make it look shiny and fresh ... on my previous car i got great results using Wd 40 to clean and it gave engine nice clean look ... i has no issues with WD 40 and auto glym show shine to make plastics nice and shiny

Just wondered what you guys do on here and what products you use ?

Did mine the other month using Meguires APS ( all purpose cleaner ) with a couple of spray bottled and brushes. Finished off all the pipes, plastics etc with aerospace 303, first time I've used it and rate it highly :salut:
Also changed the plenum cover as it doesn't come this clean with a quick wash ;)

Wow that cover looks great ... Are these available to buy ?
Sorry Simon, no you can't buy the plenum cover polished but you can spend many hours grinding / sanding & polishing if you want one ;)
