When changing my flywheel and clutch I decided to change my engine loom as I had a spare in the garage that was in better condition, when routing I seem to have came up short on a wire for the radiator temprature sensor! Looking in the manual it should have a orange and purple wire going to it but at that point of the loom there is no purple wire, looking at the manual ref the pic it say there should be a purple wire terminated in slot B1 on connector 80 (main loom connector just behing the passenger head light) but there is not one! Looking at my old loom it looks like the purple wire is just jumped off the positive side of the alternator! If I do the same on this loom this should work, but is it safe? or any suggestions?
