Does anyone know this car?

Hopefully this is the right section, and apologies for any typos as I'm on my phone.

Despite being over budget, I was wondering whether anyone was familiar with this car (and garage). It appears on the forum detailing where cars are but I was hoping for a bit more info :)

Thanks,

Thank you...I really need to get used to navigating the site. Sneaking on at work using my phone doesn't help mind ;)

Wow - so overpriced - thats PH2 money-

I could supply a PH1 for 1k less than that at least-

if you have that budget then save a tad more & buy a decent PH2

A fair amount about the car is on here, there was a recent topic on it here: LINK

Has some desirable upgrades and appears a very honest car.

The only minor is the parking sensors which could prove costly to return to standard should you wish to do so.

As Steve says, this car is priced close to the phase two cross over money point so worth thinking which model to go for.
However, The gap between ph1 and ph2 prices is slowly closing & ph1 prices seem more stable and if anything improving. Will be interesting to see what happens to the prices over the coming years!

Thanks for the replies.

I have to admit, the three things that are putting me off include:
- parking sensors
- trophy spoiler (luckily the original is supplied)
- price, its about £1k over my budget

I'm not in any rush to get one (who am I kidding...I need one whilst my lass gives me the thumbs up!).

Hopefully something will crop up round the £10k (trade only) mark which looks decent. I will keep asking opinions in the meantime, until I buy one, as I don't want to buy the wrong car or one with "history" which isn't on the register. My main worry is getting one that breaks my bank if it goes wrong.

I think it's well priced. Mk1's should be 11-12k imo. Mk2's 15k+ imo...As i've said many times we need to start raising the value of these cars.

It's been on there ages 1k over you should be able to sort something out :approve:

That looks like a good price I think. I was looking at Evoras yesterday and asked what my 53 plate 04 phase 2 would PX T. He came back saying as expected it was a difficult car to place because of the high number of owners (I'm number nine). He hasn't Yeats got a bid on the car but was suggesting £7500. 23k miles and very good condition. Due a cam belt which I told him about. Really thought he would be coming back at £10k

Trevor.

It does look a good price, I have to admit. My car is very saleable and I could probably shift it - the problem being that I worry about scammers and more importantly I need my car for day to day so can't afford to be without one whilst I hunt for a v6.

I was chatting to the guy from Pure Lotus about the one he has for sale today (£11k) and I was going to go and see it tomorrow but have been put off by people on here :) That's good though as I want to buy the right car...not just the first that I see (which is never a good thing).

I bought the first V6 that I saw.

I just had to have one, but through a lot emailing, I had a real good feeling about the seller. Lovely guy and it turned out that the car was a good un.

I bought my second Vee the same way; only saw the one. Bought it on the fact that it looked as shiny as fook though, lol.

Maybe I got lucky, who knows. But don't pass up on an opportunity just because it's the first one (not that you are).
