Difference between Mk1 and Mk2 side air pods

Can some one help me with the above and would a mk1 side air pod fit on a mk2 ??

It will fit but you won't be able to fit the plastic MK 2 grill.

Yes but it was chicken wire.

I have phase 1 fitted to mine at the mo and they fit spot on but as James has correctly stated they dont accomodate the plastic grills.

my blue ph1 was fitted with the ph2 side pods ,boot lid,rear subframe and brake master cylinder from factory as it was 1 of the last ph1 made.ive herd some ph1 even have a ph2 gearbox. i ditent know about the side pods untill this post [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]
