Dash board removal

I need to take my upper dash out.

It is just a case if removing screws along the top, sides and in the glove box and popping the pillars off?

Does it just slide out once I have found and undone all the screws?

Airbag light is on and the garage said the fault given was for the passenger airbag. The dash was entirely removed for flocking by the previous owner. They suggested it was either not reconnected or it needs replacing.

If it needs replacing is it something I, with no experience, can safely remove and replace?

There's a detailed guide in the knowledge section on how to remove dash.

You may find the passenger airbag isn't there. If it is there I wouldn't go poking about unless the battery has been disconnected. Easy way to screw up your interior/face otherwise.

As you a ph1 or 2 owner? I have a spare passenger bag for a ph2 you can have if you need it? (i had to buy a used dash top last year due to mouse's eating round the clocks & it came with a bag I dont need)

Its easy enough to do yes, best to disconect the battery before doing anything with the bags though - just to be safe
