Hi all, just bought a V6 on saturday , and being stupid didnt check the cruise control. Any way , doesnt work. Switch teh switch down to the right and the green light comes on on the dash , but the buttons on the steering wheel wount do anything.

I read a thread on here saying early cars didnt have the crusie connected but all the wires were there (why???) so could this be the case with mine? It is no 59 on 53 plate , so guess it is an early 255?

Already blown a coil! Still loving it and better than the T350 TVR it replaces!

T350 to a V6 - normally it's the other way round. Was it a C or T?

I was looking at them but opted for the Mk2.

Congratulations on your purchace! Been lucky enough to have a few goes in a T350c myself, really fun cars to drive while they work.. lol

Regarding the ctuise control though, I had a problem with it on either my 182 or the vee, i really cant remember which. But it was very easily solved with a new switch. Going by what the technician said, it was a reletively common fault. Had mine done under warrenty, so FOC!! Took him less than 5 mins to do, easy!

As late boy says, I'm sure there was a fairly common problem on 182s around the cruise switch not latching. However, sounds like yours is latching if the cruise light is coming on and staying on!?

it was a t350c , thought i would love it but had major issues from the go! none cheap! the vee is so much more fun, and so much more usable, dont feel i am going to bury it in the nearest hedge! Had a 182 and a williams before that so totally chuffed to be carrying on in the vee, smiles from ear to ear !

Will get it to reno to get the cruise looked at , hopefully just a switch , needs to go in and get the bonnet catch changed apparently

Hi,

My cruise control sometimes just decides to not work. I have no.74, so quite close to yours. I just think I have a faulty switch.

Phil.
