Can anyone give me some brief info on these wheels ...cost...availability..pros/cons etc Thanks. to fit a Ph2....when i get one !

About £2k for a really good set.
You need spacers and longer bolts.
Rears stick out a bit too much for some tastes.
They suit Ph1's better IMO
Extremely rare, good luck with your hunt.

They are lighter to lift :approve:

Rare as hens teeth......Very expensive......
They have a high magnesium content so be careful running through winter as the salt off the roads will eat them. To fit a Ph2 you'll need 15mm spacers up front and rears straight fit but sit slightly proud of rear arches.

Thanks . Can you still get them new ? I'd prefer just to bolt on without trying to make them fit ... doesnt sound right . Just like the look of them . I'm presuming after market wheels will be a problem then?
I see comp mo's have been tried, but dont quite look right (to me) perhaps custom made to fit is the answer , had this done on an Evo 6 some years back .

A set just sold on here and cheap to

These aren't the Magnesium trophy wheels you speak of, they're still Cromodoras but not magnesium, and 17 rather than 18

I know this because I've bought them, I fancy the trophy look and summer/winter tyres, I don't fancy the 3 grand price tag :D

I picked up a set cheap.................so they are out there if you're lucky.

Mine had been on a Tarmac Rally car so weren't in the best of nick.

However, just had them refurbished for £250, chucked some new tyres on and I'm very pleased with the end product.

I also agree it's not an ideal fit to a Phase II, but then again I'm not going to use the car that often (I work away half the year).

But it was more the look I was after, just to have a slightly different look on a Titanium car.

Best of Luck.

Yes I have to agree they probably look the best on a Titanium car as per your picture and yes I like the look and wouldnt be using it that much....all of which is probably irrelevant ...till I get one !! Just dreaming for the time being.

2tsg, don't let that hold you back - I bought my wheels before I had a Clio :s

Working away at the moment Matt..............pics will be sorted once home :salut:

Really good look on a ti car, probably suit lunar and black as well.
I'd like a set purely for the special/ different factor but if I'm honest I prefer the standard wheels, I'm also not sure they look too good on a Blue car.

Some of the Guys on hear have their cars sounding superb...........as for the 6R4 sound..........just don't think they can rev the same :s

Its impossible to make a vee sound like a 6r4. The clio has a 60* V6 and the metro has a 90*. Fitting a trophy flywheel and clutch will allow it to rev up similar although conrods and cyliner head mods will be needed to push the revs up toward 9k rpm.

Sold my car with original parts, now selling 4 trophy wheels & tyres, 2 in good condition, 2 which you can drive on but need changing soon. The wheels need repainting as they're a bit scratched. Selling with all the bolts & something?! for 2500euro plus shipping

Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport

thanks. Will take it seriously when i get the car first !, at least i know they can be obtained and there are people who can help me on here.
thanks again.
