Creeky clutch pedal.

Good evening all ... so I spent a few hours cleaning the vee today and when I took her out for a well deserved blast and an ice cream for me and i noticed my clutch pedal has started to make a really creeky noise when I start to depress it and release fully also. I can go through the gear changes fine and I don't think the clutch bite has changed but should I be concerned that some thing feels like it is going to break ,any one experienced similar etc as I would like to replace a part now before I get stranded on the side of the road . Thank you
Jimm

completley no help as far as mechanics goes.....but this may help to assure you its probably nothing to worry about.

My old one started to do exactly as you say a couple of years back. I mentioned it to Scott and he worked some wizardry on it sorted it out without replacing anything.
I don't know what he did, but I pressume he just adjusted the pedal slightly. I think its just something rubbing slightly in the pedal movement as apposed to anything wrong with the operation of the clutch its self.

Thanks Duncan maybe I will give Scott a call or try and get a diagram of the pedal and see its easy enough to do while doing a head stand on the drivers seat up side down with a spanner in hand lol .

I think mine did that for a while too but not anymore.

I wouldn't worry about it. Tends to happen after the winter storage months and then gets better as the summe r progresses.

It's probably just a dry pivot on the pedal or similar, get your head under there and try and locate the general area of the creak and then direct some spray grease at it.
