cossie t3 exhaust housing

or even to use in a quadra for a custom exhaust setup. just thought i would post it up :-)

yep

its a good mod, you need to make a downpipe up to fit it, but imo a very worthwhile mod, shaved nearly 1/4 sec off my 1/4 mile time changing exhaust housings.

Really! That is very interesting.. Just shows how bad the standard 21t elbow is!
I brought one a while back along with a downpipe for the quadra

exhaust housing

I was running a t34 mind, but even on a t3 it will make a difference, the standard housing is no where near as good as the cossie one, combine it with a 3" downpipe with smooth bends, not like the renault elbow setup and there will be a big improvement.

Definately. Quite why they went with the 5-bolt housing and that stooooopid elbow i'll never know. The elbow is nearly as stupid as the top intercooler!

Has anyone thought of trying the escort rs turbo wastegate? Think it uses the same 5 bolt to the exhaust housing and looks like the same 2 stud to the downpipe. But there's no restrictions?

Andy

I did think of it but i never tried it for size. I had on on a spare turbo, wich i sold when i bought my t34
