... Heard on Twitter that Classic Car Weekly Magazine are doing a feature on the Clio V6! Caused quite a stir amongst the 'classic community' I believe!

It's on the Classic Car Weekly Twitter feed. I picked up on it from a comment from someone else on Twitter.

LOL, but seriously has the said feature appeared in the mag as yet? :)

Thanks Duncan - not normally a mag I read but would be interested in seeing what has been said.

Has the Vee ever featured in Octane or Classic & Sports Car magazines? I know the Phase 2 was featured in the 'Future Classic' section' of Classic Cars (March 2004) - guess how I know ;)

I'm talking to a journalist I know who writes for Octane and used to write in EVO, about a tenth anniversary piece since the ph2 did great in the EVO COTY during its launch period, for publication at the end of this year. Early stages . will keep you informed.

Graeme, that would be brilliant! Do keep us posted.

I do hope you manage to swing that one - a feature in Octane on the Phase 2's 10th Anniversary would be fantastic. Of course, one should not forget the Phase 1.....

PS: if you need a Phase 2 for the feature, I know where an ultra low-mileage Liquid Yellow has been stashed away ;)

Wholly inappropriate IMO as LY Vees will be waiting a little longer for their 10 year anniversary.

LOL, but seriously, which Phase 2 colours were available from day 1? Does that mean one could not order a Phase 2 in ID (or special) colours at launch?

A bit ropey on my Vee history when it comes to colours.

I think the paint booth at Dieppe needed a little upgrading for the I.D colours;) so launch of Ph 2 in 2003 was just Illiad Blue, Mars red and Titanium. then in about March 2004 Black gold was added and the first ID colours of Lunar grey, Acid yellow and the very exclusive Deep bronze;). Then around October 2004 Inferno orange and midnight blue and ID colours Petrol blue and finally.........Liquid Yellow.
