Condensation this time of year

Does anyone suffer from a lot of condensation on windscreen and windows when the weathers cold and wet? Mainly occurs when its been raining and when cars warming up, need to keep air-con on at all times just to keep it clear. Also after cars been warmed up and then left a while a thick build up occurs on all windows and takes ages to clear even with full demist on and heated rear on. Is this a common thing due to engine being in cabbin?

Yep, can be a bloody nightmare, but same with the rented combi van I am driving too and that aint got the engine in there with me!

I find the windows steam up more if they aren't very clean. Give the insides a good wipe with a damp cloth with a bit of washing up liquid added.

Rain-X is brilliant to stop windows steaming up on the inside.

Is also good for the outside and often means you don't need to use your wipers in the wet as the water just does not stick to the screen.

It can also be used the house to to stop windows steaming up ;-)

I found the same problem with mine, I had a look around the car and found that there was quite a bit of water had some how got into the floor well behind the passenger seat. Not sure how but I think it's come in whilst driving in really heavy rain conditions and deep puddles.

I'm just drying it all out and will start the investigations!

that washing up liquid trick works, i remember wiping the inside of my face mask with it when paintballing to stop it didnt steaming up.
