Replaced the coil that was dodgy (tested by removing each clip one by one)

and the car still doesnt run on all 6...new coil fitted and makes no difference with the connecter on and off..

just near the coil that was faulty..there is a small stain of some kind of liquid..

help?!?!

swap the plug out of the dodgy coil and place it in another cylinder and try again. Will tell you if the plug needs changing.

tried this and the car ran worse..maybe on 4 cylinders..?? would that mean it needs changing? big job as when it comes to electrics im a no hoper lol!

how easy is it to get the the plugs on the clio v6..??

renault cant even get it on a computer for over a week :(:(

Covers off
Mk2, easy,
Mk1, 3 are hidden under the plenum which needs to be unbolted. the other 3 are easy as per Mk2.

found out that a plug is away under the front middle coil, but also there is no signal to the coil..so its gonna have to be a renault job :(:(

thanks for your help TRW1 much appreicated

Not sure if it's of any use but I had a coil go, found out the faulty one and changed it, tried it up the road...great....then started it again and found another had gone! On inspection one was totally gone but the other was arking out, found it when I was inspecting it in the dark, might be worth a look.

Matt
