Right...

Very lumpy idle. It goes bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum

So like Andy said sounds like one of the coils has given up.

How far can i drive on it to get to a dealer?? Will it harm the engine at all?

I wouldnt drive to far with it because it can damage you cats with unburnt fuel going through.
I drove 5 miles to the garage with a cylinder down.

same has happend to me just now, were can trophy coils be obtained from and how much should i expect? links to sites please..if any :D

got mine to the garage today. the vardy garage has to get some specialist to fit them lol

Jeez what kind of mechanics are they?

Its only a 10mm bolt pull one out push the new one in.

Can do it without to much trouble, even with the engine surrounds in place.

In Renault dealers only more senior RTEs are allowed to work on Vees I believe. However, the above sounds more like a excuse to ream you even more on what is actually an easy job!
