Coil changed - Engine Management Light still on

OK I had a coil failure which resulted in the Engine Management Light coming on. Found the problem coil and changed it. Run smooth again now, but the EML is still lit. HELP! Is this normal? Do I have to take it to Renault to get reset? Will it go out after a few runs out - I've tried switching on and off and been for a 5 minute drive and it's still on. Or is it likely that there's some damage somewhere?

What next?

Exactly this - went for a 10 minute drive yesterday and the light went out.

Result.

With problems like this, I usually find disconnecting the battery for a good half hour is enough to get rid of the EML light, especially if you're paranoid or just want it gone ASAP.

Of course, if there's still a problem there the light will flash up again!
