Hi guys what is a trophy work with only 15,000 miles on it it great condition, ive been offered a deal on a BMW M3 Im currently selling, I no you guy rate these cars a lot, so Im wanting to pick your brains and give me your opinion cheers

I'd say worth about £6500-£7000 if all belts have been done, suspension refurbished and it has a service history with it. Not sure how that compares to your m3. If you don't do it PM me the details of the seller as currently thinking about one. :approve:

Sure Mossy will know better than me.... But I spotted this today and thought the Trophy's holding their money. Nearly 55K on the clock but appears well looked after LINK
One with 15K might get a few people to part with quite a bit more £££££

Matt, you change your cars more than you change your underware
Must admit I'm looking at changing my 182 and this sounds interesting :approve:
Keep us posted johnler :approve:

Quite possibly.

I saw one a while ago with around 27k which was up for 6.5 on ebay. . Dont think it sold tbh. .
They mileage is very low but if they want to px it should be at trade price not retail. . If I were in your shoes I wouldn't allow them more than 5.5-6k as you've got to try and shift it...
I think the sachs would be ok if it's only done 15k but should be used for negotiation as it's an expensive job that buyers will want doing as well as belts pulleys dephaser. . Good luck

I'd say about £6,800, but for that sort of strong money the buyer would likely want belts & refurbed dampers recently done.

There would be alot of dreamer's but not many buyers at that price though.

Especially when you could get a decent ultra low miles 182 for 3-4K.

the guy values it at around £9995

£7k tops with everything sorted, belts, dampers etc.

There's another place in Harrogate that sorts the dampers out for less than BG too, about £200 iirc

How is the 182 Trophy as a daily driver?

How often do the dampers need refreshing, and is it age or mileage related?

Have been thinking about one as a daily driver for a while but haven't taken the plunge as yet......

How often do the dampers need refreshing, and is it age or mileage related? Hmmm both sort of. Some go early, some late.

Most fun car ever.

Thanks Tim - I have seen that video, which actually spurred me to seriously think about getting one, but I was hoping to get a view from Renault enthusiasts and Vee owners who actually own/owned one. Maybe I will post up a separate thread rather than hijack this one.

Thanks for your feedback. Seems right up my alley then..................better start looking. Never personally owned a FWD car since my days with a Vauxhall Nova SRi during my university days (late 80's to mid 90's).

Selling my Trophy was the only car regret I've had. It went for a brand spanking new Clio 200 and after the honeymoon period wore off I longed for my Trophy back. You've honestly got to take one down a B road to see what the fuss is all about. Such fun on a par, if slightly different, to the V6 imo

Daily driver? Easy. Drove mine everyday. Once did an 80 mile detour on my commute home one fine evening...

If funds allowed I'd have one in a heartbeat as my daily next to the Vee

He's now said the lowest he will take is £7500 and no less, , and I think if I could get that for it I would maybe do the deal with him,

Hi, above my budget really was just checking for you if you were buying it. Not sure if suspension is age or miles tbh.
